Junior High Ministry
The focus of Wintersburg Youth Ministries is to teach the Word of God. As we begin to understand the truths contained in scripture, we will begin to have a proper response to God and what He has done for us. This is a response of hope and gratitude which spurs us on toward obedient living. This obedient living extends into every aspect of our lives including: the things we fill our minds with, excellence in school, God-centered friendships, relationships, homelife, parents, priorities, service, and much more. At Wintersburg, we are committed to leading students to Christlike behavior through Biblical teaching and exemplary living.
The "K" in Special K stands for Koinonia. Koinonia is the greek word for fellowship. At Special K, we have fellowship with both God and our friends. Our fellowship with God is founded on His Word. We are committed to proclaiming the good news of Christ and learning about the basic foundations of the Christian faith. Each night we have a time of singing praises, playing some crazy games, hanging out, and refreshments (a must). Basically, great Christian fellowship.
Special K exists to inspire students to take JOY in worshipping God, EQUIP them through discipleship, SERVE others, UNIFY and SHARE about Jesus.
