International Reaching Japanese for Christ (IRJC) Conference – February 12-14, 2015

The theme will be “Should I Not Be Concerned?” taken from Jonah 4:11. There will be a full schedule of great seminars, speakers and fellowship, all around our common burden for reaching Japanese for Christ. The two main speakers will be Eriya Mitsuhashi and Nobu Sakakibara and the conference will be in both Japanese and English. FAMILY MATTERS: Kids & Technology – Saturday, February 21, 5:00–8:30pm

Dinner will be served at 5:00 in the social hall before the meeting. Dinner is $5 per person; $3 for children 5–12 yrs.; under 5 yrs. are free.  Following dinner, Jason Chang will speak about Kids & Technology:  How the Human Machines are Enslaving the Human Race and Why We Don't Care About It.  Childcare is available from 6:30-8:30pm.  To sign up, contact Jen Oei.

Wintersburg is going through a season of change as we transition to a new pastor and to a new denomination. We are also seeking direction about expanding our church’s campus through our Expand the Vision campaign and changing our culture to become more missional and devoted to daily discipleship. Now is the time to seek God for his help, wisdom and guidance as John 15:5 reminds us, “apart from Me you can do nothing.”

WOMEN’S RETREAT – April 24-26, 2015

Make plans to attend the Women’s Retreat at the Ayres Hotel in nearby Mission Viejo.  Our speaker will be Marlean Felix, who greatly blessed us with her presentation at last year’s Women’s Conference.  Registration information to come!

At the December Congregational Meeting, Pastor Ted officially announced his resignation to our church. Over the course of the year, we will give updates on the process of hiring a new head pastor here.
